Capturing the rugged beauty of the vast landscape in western Nebraska is truly a humbling experience for me. I often find myself chasing the golden light as it sweeps across the wide-open prairie and rolling hills. There is an undeniable sense of peace that accompanies the solitude found in these hidden corners of the 🌎. I used to think that every single photo needed to look like a perfectly polished editorial shoot. Honestly, I’ve realized that the best memories happen when you just stop worrying about how you look. I love to laugh, move around, and give my favorite people a big 🫂 while we’re in front of the lens. It turns out that those candid, messy moments are actually the most beautiful ones to keep forever. I’ve been getting so many questions about what I actually carry in my camera bag these days! I finally decided to pack it all out and show you exactly what I take on my shoots. It’s honestly a relief to organize my camera and lenses so I’m always ready for the perfect shot 📸. I never leave home without extra batteries and plenty of memory cards because you just never know when inspiration will strike!
