First day of college! ❤️💙🐻⬇️

We dropped Elysia off last week, and I have to say… I handled it WAY better than I expected. 😂 I got a little teary-eyed for a minute, but I pulled it together and behaved. No ugly crying! 🙌🏼😂

I’m sure it helps that she’s only an hour away. Close enough for our monthly pedicure dates and, of course, for Mom to make Costco goodie deliveries. 😂❤️

And today she officially starts classes at the University of Arizona! I’m so excited for her and proud of everything she’s worked for to get here. Now she gets to enjoy it, make it her own, and see where this next adventure takes her.

In less than two weeks, we'll be moving her into her dorm at the University of Arizona, and it's finally starting to feel real.

I kept telling myself it would be easier because she'll only be about an hour away. But somehow it's hitting me even harder than when we dropped our son off in Texas. Maybe it's because she's our baby. Maybe it's because my husband and I are about to become empty nesters. Whatever it is, this season has me feeling all the emotions.

I've photographed so many seniors over the years, and every parent says the same thing: "It goes by so fast." I always believed them... but now that it's my own daughter, I truly understand what they meant.

If I've been a little quieter on here lately, now you know why. I've been soaking up every minute with her before this next chapter begins. Once she's all settled into her dorm, I'll be back to sharing all the beautiful sessions I've had the privilege of photographing.

Working my way through this gorgeous engagement session, and I'm completely in love with these images. 😍

Summer in the Arizona desert is so underrated. The monsoon rains bring so much life to the landscape, the desert turns beautifully green, the sunsets are incredible, and these two made my job so easy. I can't wait to share more from their gallery! 🌵✨

I hope everyone is having an amazing summer! We've been soaking up every minute of ours, and I've been staying a little quiet over here while I enjoy these last few weeks with both of my kids before my youngest heads off to college. ❤️ Time really does fly.

Sharing a few phone pics from our trip to Curaçao. 🇨🇼💙

We loved exploring this colorful Dutch Caribbean island and experiencing a culture that felt different from Puerto Rico, yet familiar in so many ways. I loved that I could still communicate in Spanish, and it was fascinating to hear Papiamentu with its blend of Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

We also happened to be there during the World Cup, and the energy was contagious! We're not huge soccer fans, but watching Curaçao play, seeing the watch parties, and cheering alongside the locals made the experience so much fun.

The beaches were absolutely stunning, the snorkeling was amazing, and every corner of the island was full of color and charm. ☀️🌊🐠💙

Still trying to figure out how we got here so fast. 🥹

My baby girl graduates this week, and honestly… it doesn’t feel real at all. How did time fly by this fast?

This next chapter isn’t just a big one for her, it feels like one for us too. And if you know me, you already know I’m going to be an emotional mess all week because I’m such a cry baby. 😂 It’s really starting to hit me, and I’ve been so emotional just thinking about it all lately.

But more than anything, I’m just so incredibly proud of her and the amazing young woman she’s become. Watching her grow through all these years has truly been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Now excuse me while I try to make it through graduation week without crying the entire time. 🤍🎓

Senior Sunday 🤍

This one is my daughter… and she definitely doesn’t love when I share too many of her photos 🙄😅

She’s always been so quiet about her accomplishments. No need for attention, no need to prove anything… she just puts her head down and works hard. And somehow makes it all look effortless.

I’ve never had to push her or worry about the path she’s on. She’s always had this steady drive in her, and it’s been such a gift to watch her grow into who she is today.

Not just what she’s achieved… but her heart, her kindness, and the way she carries herself.

This season feels a little bittersweet, but mostly just full of pride and excitement for everything ahead of her.

Proof that your forever person should also be the one who makes you laugh the hardest 🤍

These two had the sweetest, most genuine connection mixed with so many laughs (mostly thanks to her 😂). The kind of love that feels effortless, fun, and completely them.

From quiet little moments to nonstop giggles, this session was such a perfect reflection of their story, and I already know their wedding day is going to be full of so much love and joy.

I am SO excited for these two as they head toward saying “I do” on the North Carolina coast 🌊✨
