Jackson ran off after his owner passed away in his home.

I had some prior commitments and couldn't make it out until Sunday.
I do wish I could have made it over sooner, but am glad we found him before the bad weather moved in.

No broken bones, no internal bleeding and not too terribly dehydrated. They kept him overnight to monitor and continue pain meds and fluids.
He should be returning home today. 🏠

I'm just glad I could help.
Keeping this family in my thoughts. 🙏

I love me some good dad jokes 😁 I hope everyone has a safe opening day and r***e season! Keep me in mind if your needing a recovery. And when in doubt, back out! Deer are unbelievably tough and a deer that has been pushed is way more difficult to find. Here's to trying to keep children quiet in the deer stand 🙃🤪

I got the pleasure of helping this guy find his 2025 Buck.
They called me to see if I could help locate and they knew it had some legs that were damaged. I was able to find it in 15-20 minutes.
We could tell it was the one we were looking for because the legs on this deer didn't look right and while we were watching him it looked as though he was trying to get up but couldn't.
They went in the next morning to find him expired and this guy got to harvest his buck!

I was unaware he was able to pay that much attention to detail 😅🤣
All kidding aside, it is something he enjoys and is very good at.
