It’s always a treat to be able to photograph a family member’s wedding. It rained most of the day on Tyler and Kenzie (in Arizona!) but they didn’t seem to mind. Photographing rainy weddings is kind of our jam. 😎🌂🌧

That’s it. I’m jumping ship. Took a Sony mirrorless for a spin this weekend and I’m hooked. No focus issues like Canon= way less throw away shots. Bye Felicia. 👋🏼

My wife Rebecca posted this earlier today, and i couldn’t say it any better. These were hands down the most important photographs we’ve ever taken, and to us they are absolutely sacred.

“I haven't wanted to post these, because they're not mine. Yes, Chad and I photographed the funeral of Officer Joe Shinners in January for the family, who are some of our dearest friends, but these don't belong to us. These are sacred images that belong to his family. I'm sharing these with their permission.

Memorial day is more than just the first unofficial day of summer. It's more than BBQ's. Just like Christmas and Easter are more than presents and candy and bunnies and eggs.

On memorial day we remember those who have gone before us, for us. We remember those who have given everything. We remember those who are gone and give thanks for the time we had with them and, I believe, will have with them again.

We express our love and gratitude to those who are left behind because of their selfless sacrifice. Those who leave have mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, wives, and children, friends, co-workers, and communities.
