Favorite full circle moment as a wedding photographer 💜

There is nothing more meaningful than being invited back to document another chapter of my couples’ love stories. It’s the greatest privilege to preserve these milestones along the way!

Almost didn’t post these because they “didn’t fit the vibe” of my feed, but who cares, I love these.

Moments like this are exactly why I love photographing weddings the way I do: intentionally, and with a heart of service.

Yes, wedding days can be glamorous and luxurious, but my favorite moments are the unexpected ones. The unplanned, kinda messy, impactful moments that end up meaning the most.

Earlier that morning, a few things completely out of Sonia and Carlos’s control threw some things off, and had them feeling a little stressed. Then this very unplanned moment happened.

The second Carlos rushed through the door (definitely not supposed to see her before the ceremony 😅), they both immediately started laughing. And instead of fighting the timeline, they spontaneously finished getting ready together in Sonia’s childhood living room.

Not part of the plan. But one of my favorite moments from the day🖤Some of the moments you’ll treasure most will be ones you never saw coming.

Jake was SO excited to capture this silhouette of him and Abby before their reception ended, it was his one photo request of the night!

And honestly, I love moments like this. It’s so fun when couples intentionally add little pieces of themselves into their wedding photos… it just makes everything feel more personal.

I hear this from almost every couple I work with…

“We’re awkward in front of the camera.”
“We don’t know how to pose.”

I get it! But guess what? You don’t need to know what to do. That’s my job🤭

I’m not going to just place you and say “hold still.” I guide you the whole time. I’ll tell you where to go, what to do with your hands, when to move, when to just be in the moment & hold each other!

Most of the time, you end up forgetting the camera is even there. So don’t overthink it. Just show up as yourselves… I’ll take care of the rest!
