It's august.

That means I need to get my fall calendar together...

Labor day weekend-ish it'll be in your email!

Also what the heck. I feel like school *just* ended? Band camp is next week! Fall sports starting up in a minute! Friends in the south already back to class! I'm usually itching for school to start but I feel like we got short changed this summer.

And, it's the time of year I'm facebook starts suggesting other local photographers who are scheduling their fall mini's or whatever. And I start looking at costs. And at first I think OMG they only charge $100 for a 20 minute mini session?? WTF? I'm charging way too much. Then I look further and discover they list ZERO pricing for how much it actually costs for your images or prints. $100 is just a sitting fee. One I saw charged $250 for a SITTING FEE. No price for digital images, or print packages, or anything. Lots of them limit how many digital images you get too. If they can't list their prices then you KNOW it's ridiculous. So I'll just be keeping my $300/20min fall sessions again (3rd or 4th year in a row at that rate) and keep giving you guys all your images and not gate keep them or make you pay for additional ones and I photoshop as part of the deal b/c zits happen. Lipstick gets on teeth. Ni***es perk. Kids drool.

it has been a Busy Spring. and now somehow we are well into june, summer swim has started, school isn't out yet (thanks winter break 2.0!), and i'm already behind. no worries. still shooting, including this very silly family shoot yesterday that has more incredible jcpenny photo studio fun to come. we also took nice pics ;)
