The quiet strength of women. It’s not something you always see. They don’t display it like a medal. They carry it within—woven into the places life has asked them to bend without breaking.

I think this is becoming one of my favorite kinds of photography. Not because it’s about beautiful portraits, but because it lets me know the women in front of my camera—hear their stories, see the strength they’ve carried, and the lives they’ve built.

My hope is that when they see their photographs, they don’t just see how beautiful they are on the outside—they recognize the beauty, courage, and quiet strength that have been there all along.

I think they are beautiful in color or grainy black and white. Of course, I may be biased as one is my daughter and the other my niece.
Truly, one of the most beautiful things about them, though is their relationship. Some people are blessed with finding an amazing best friend, but when they are actually family, it’s extra special. These two have an unbroken bond, a lifelong friendship that has never faded.

This has become one of my favorite places. Every time I come here, the light finds a way to make everything feel magical. The golden grass, the soft glow through the trees, and the quiet moments in between create the kind of images that feel like they belong in a storybook.

I love that I got to photograph this amazing senior twice… since each location offered a completely different vibe.

Her sessions felt like stepping into two completely different stories, both hers as an individual and her relationship with her boyfriend… and she absolutely brought it all to life. 🌾✨

Not every senior walks into a session loving the camera — and honestly, that’s completely okay. Some of the best photos come from pushing past the awkward first few minutes and just owning the moment.

He may have felt a little uncomfortable at first, but you’d never know it looking at these photos. Confident, fierce, and absolutely crushing every shot without even trying. 🔥📸
