Happy Friday!

Just a little thank you note to all the amazing clients who have been so patient, kind and empathetic as we regain a semblance of routine and new normal around here.
Lately I’ve been struggling with the loss of “normal”. Whether it be personal or just the state of the world. The nostalgia is strong and sometimes I wish my kids could have known the 90s. I’ve been watching a lot of old Disney shows (Tail Spin, iykyk), falling asleep to Crocodile Hunter (only Steve’s voice brings that rush of seratonin) and I even took a second to bring back chunky highlights ala Kelly Clarkson at my hair appointment.
The connection, love, words of encouragement and empathy have made these last few weeks easier. I’m forever grateful that my work has brought me some truly incredible humans and I appreciate you all so much ❤️

Galleries are rolling out at a quicker pace now and I’m excited to get back out there for some special sessions next week.

Fall minis and halves are now open to everyone! This year, there are FIVE locations with a new option to upgrade your session to include your entire gallery beforehand; no need to choose your images.
Some days have already been filled so secure your spot using the link in my bio. Once these dates are gone, that will be it for minis this year!

S U M M E R

It’s flying by and I’m just loving all these carefree and wild sessions. Admittedly, I’m terrible at keeping up with sharing all these sessions. If I’m not at a shoot or editing, I’m trying to soak in the moments with my own small army of children.
I hope everyone is basking in the sun and finding joy in this season.
Speaking of seasons…fall booking was released to existing clients last night so if you didn’t get the email, let me know now before they go live to the public this evening. One day is already full and the others are limited!

Happy Monday!

I’m back from Maine and back to work! Lots of galleries going out this week and finally…fall sessions are releasing on FRIDAY! But first, make sure you check out my stories for science…I have some ideas for offerings this year and want to make sure I’m giving everyone what they’re looking for.

Hi, I’m Asia!

I guess it’s finally time to introduce myself so you know who to look for in that random parking lot I sent you directions to.

I live in CT with my husband, 5 kids, 3 cats and crested gecko. Yes…5 kids. So if you’re nervous about your kiddos at your session, don’t be. Kids are my jam.
I love angry music, good coffee, all things Halloween, classical art, gardening and supporting every sport, hobby and interest my kids might have on any given day. Big fan of coping through humor, being punctual and celebrating love in every form.

After staying at home with my kids for 17 years, I turned to photography to help families capture those little moments that turn into lifelong memories. I love to tell stories through art and have fun while doing it. We’ll skip the poses and fake smiles and trade them for searching for bugs, playing in the ocean and getting those REAL emotions.

I can’t wait to meet you and capture your story ❤️

Whew…
It’s been a busy month of sessions and a hell of a month personally but I’m still here and with a few updates.

* Thank you for all of the messages, well wishes and concern for my not-so-little baby. I cannot even begin to express how much it means to me. He’s doing better but we still have a long road ahead which leads me to…
* Session availability is going to look a little different this summer. For one, I am completely booked out until August. I can’t believe it! No worries though, you may see a few random spots available this summer which brings us to…
* I will only be booking inspo sessions until fall. What’s an inspo session?! Sessions that I have been inspired by and would love to shoot. A day on your home farm, a maternity session at a flower nursery, maybe even a mommy and me berry picking session. You’ll see more on these later!
* Fall minis will be limited this year to prioritize full sessions and will be available to existing clients first. I’ll be sure to give everyone a good heads up on dates. As for the rest of fall, I know it say it every year but for real, it’s never to early to book. Fall sessions fill in a snap!
* Galleries and sneak galleries are being delivered today for sessions held before 5/16 so look out for those!

Nothing quite as sweet as a home session ❤️

As we enter busy season, here are a few tips for making your next session as smooth as possible.

* Book early! For maternity sessions, I recommend booking as you enter your second trimester. The best time to have your session is between 28 and 35 weeks. For newborns, you want to secure your session entering your third trimester. I’m currently full for April and booking into mid May and June.
* Get outfit planning out of the way early! Don’t want to plan yourself? No worries, I offer complete styling and access to a client closet as well.
* Plan to make memories. Don’t stress about posing or whether the kids will behave. We’re here to have fun and the best images come from natural smiles and letting loose!
