My love for photography is rivaled only by my love of words. This particular combination of them, strung together by the ever-brilliant Ansel Adams, happens to be my favorite.

One photographer may have the exact same gear, training, locations, and editing techniques as the next, but no two outcomes will ever look the same, simply because no two photographers are ever the same.

We take pictures, but leave behind delicate, almost imperceptible imprints of who we are in each piece of work; like a secret map leading to our perceptions of everything from the biggest of milestones to the most seemingly ordinary of moments.

This is what I love most about being a photographer; we don't just capture stories - we tell them.

Pretty sure I laughed the entire way through this fun-loving couple's engagement session the other day. From skateboard adventures to hiking explorations, unexpectedly knee-deep snow and even being trapped by a train, this was one for the books.
