Jaide + Jaxon | 9/12/26 | Janke Farm in Madison, SD

What a blessing this day was to be a part of.

Jaide + Jaxon got married right at home, in a pasture on their own land, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them through every season that brought them here. A beautiful outdoor ceremony in the middle of God’s country, champagne flying with their wedding party, one of the most jaw dropping first dances we’ve ever photographed, and so many moments that just felt completely like them.

Their story started years ago at SDSU, when a football player held the door outside the athletic training room for a track and cross country athlete who apparently forgot to thank him 😂 From Zesto’s Ice Cream on their first date, to a tiny first apartment, chasing football dreams across the country, and eventually a proposal right here on their own land.

There was something especially meaningful about getting to photograph this one too. I first knew Jaide’s dad as my boss years ago, long before Corbyn + Morgan Photography existed, and somehow life brought us back together for one of the biggest days of their family’s lives.

From SDSU to “I do,” right where they’ve built their life together.

Maksim + Iryna | 5/26/26 | The Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, CA 🤍

This wedding was a little different for me.

Maksim is one of mine and Mikey’s good friends, so when he invited us out to San Diego, I knew I was bringing a camera.

There were only 17 people there.

Everybody stayed together in the same Airbnb. We’d drink coffee together in the morning, listen to music, hang out by the pool, and then head out for the ceremony at Sunset Cliffs. Afterward, we went back to the house where a private chef prepared an Eastern European dinner for everyone.

Maksim is Belarusian, Iryna is Ukrainian, and her parents watched from Ukraine over FaceTime.

The whole day felt less like a wedding and more like being welcomed into someone’s family for a few days.

As wedding photographers, we spend a lot of time around timelines, venues, and logistics. This weekend was a reminder that at the center of all of it is just people.

Two people getting married.

Their families.

Their friends.

Good food.

Good conversation.

And a really beautiful view.

We’ve photographed a lot of weddings, and every once in a while there’s one where you get in the car at the end of the night and immediately start talking about how good it was.

This was one of those.

Good people, good conversations, a beautiful venue & a dance floor that actually stayed full, just an all around great day!

Jessica + Jacob | 5/16/26 @ Sylvan Lake Auditorium in Custer State Park, SD 🤍

Some wedding days feel emotional. Some feel intentional. Jessica + Jacob’s somehow felt like both in every possible way.

From the very beginning of the day, there was this quiet tenderness surrounding everything. Their first look was followed by a private picnic tucked into the Black Hills where they exchanged vows with one another & simply slowed down long enough to take it all in together. Every part of their day felt thoughtful, personal, & deeply rooted in who they are.

Their Professor officiated the ceremony, & it felt perfect. The words spoken throughout the day sounded like poetry themselves. Guests were given a booklet filled with some of Jessica + Jacob’s favorite love poems, which made the entire ceremony feel even more intimate. There were very few dry eyes in attendance, ours included.

After weaving through Needles Highway for portraits among the granite spires, we ended the night walking around Sylvan Lake as the light disappeared behind the hills. In true Black Hills fashion, a stranger holding a freshly caught trout asked if they wanted a photo with it, & without hesitation, they said yes. Somehow, it ended up feeling like the perfect final memory from a day that already felt unforgettable.

We seriously could’ve photographed these two forever.

Some wedding days just feel full from beginning to end, & Aiden + Peyton’s day was exactly that. From private vows during their first look, to a packed dance floor later that night, every part of the day felt intentional, joyful, & centered around the people they love most.

One of our favorite parts of the day was watching how calm they both were around each other. No pressure to perform, no rushing through moments, just genuine excitement to finally be married.

Their ceremony at Risen Savior Church was beautiful, & Laurel Ridge Barn was the perfect place to celebrate afterward surrounded by family + friends. We seriously could’ve photographed these two forever.

Zoriah + Malakhi | 4/21/26 @ Fish Haul Beach in Hilton Head Island, SC

Our 2nd ever destination wedding is one for the books, & will probably go down as one of our favorites of all time. We met these two through our couple from last September, Taylor + Dawson, & when we got their inquiry we were over the moon with joy.

Their wedding was exactly how it should’ve been, a handful of their closest family + friends, celebrating their forever love. We had endless opportunities for beautiful photos anywhere we ended up, we could go on & on about how perfect this day was, but we think the pictures speak themselves.
