Having my past couples come back to me to photograph their big milestones is something that never stops amazing me. I remember Rebecca and Aaron’s engagement session like it was yesterday. I remember the blue dress, I remember their wedding and running around the hotel with them. And now, I’ll remember her like this: glowing and just about to be a mom for the first time!

Jamie and Sam came to me all the way from California. They are getting married in fall and she is absolutely not messing around with her vendor team: in October, I will be pairing up once again with South Dakota Wedding Planner-Jenny Savage to make their day absolutely perfect, and on top of that, I will get to photograph flowers from the incredibly talented Divinely Planted Landscape & Design !! Some people like rolling around in a prairie… Alaa and Ben are more my kind of people. For their engagement, they wanted to take a stroll around the city of Sioux Falls and I was lucky enough to be able to follow them with my camera. Now let me tell you: I loooooved it.
They are getting married in a few months and my goodness she might be one of the most gorgeous brides I’ll ever get to photograph.

Yesterday Talia and James got married in Brandon and it was honestly the best day ever. I met Talia’s family long time ago… they were nice enough to trust me when I was just starting out my photography journey and I have had the privilege to photograph her family several times during my career. Yesterday I was honored to capture her wedding day and my luck doesn’t end there because next year I’ll be photographing her sister’s wedding as well!
I love this family so much. Yesterday was perfect, and I am so sad it is over! Have fun in England guys!

These two came out of their car and the first thing they told me was “we’ve never taken a good photo together. We are not photo people”

Excuse me, Eric and Megan: I beg to differ.

Because not only you guys look great under the Sioux Falls downtown light…

… you are also naturals and this photo thing.

Photographing you was not only easy…

… but also dreamy.

You brought your passion of board games to the session;

You were not scared to show your love;

You were relaxed, funny and decided to have fun no matter what…

… and it shows.
