🎄 Christmas Mini Update! 🎄
I’ve had SO many people asking about Christmas minis, so yes — I am still planning for them! ❤️

Since I’ll be super pregnant this year, I’m thinking we’ll keep them short and sweet: 10-minute sessions, 15 edited images for $225, with the option to purchase additional images if you love more!

I’m tentatively looking at November 7th in the AM, as long as the studio I typically use has their holiday setup out by then. 🤞

Weather Policy ☔️

I know how much planning goes into your session, and with October being extremely full before baby arrives, I want to do everything I reasonably can to keep your session on the calendar when the weather allows! 🤍

A few reminders on how I handle weather:

If it is actively raining, we will reschedule. I want you to have an enjoyable experience and a gallery you’re excited about, while also protecting my equipment.

If it is not raining, we can still move forward — even if everything is wet from rain earlier in the day. Cloudy, overcast skies can actually give us some of the softest, prettiest light!

The final weather decision is made the day of your session, typically a few hours beforehand. I completely understand that this can sometimes feel frustrating or even a little wishy-washy when you’re trying to plan around your session. Forecasts can change quickly, and I don’t want to reschedule too early because rain is predicted, only for it to never actually arrive. I’d rather wait until we have a clearer picture and make the most informed decision possible.

I’m also happy to be flexible with timing! If moving your session earlier/later means we can beat the rain, I’ll absolutely offer that option before rescheduling.

If we do need to reschedule, I’ll work with you to find another available date. However, with my October calendar being especially FULL before baby arrives, my availability is very limited and I may not have another October opening.

One more fall-weather reminder: This time of year naturally brings more cloudy days and cooler temperatures. Please plan accordingly and bundle up those babes and kiddos! 🧥🤍 I do not reschedule sessions simply because of typical fall temperatures. As long as the weather is safe and we’re not dealing with active rain, we can make it work!

Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility during these rainy stretches. I know how much you look forward to your photos, and I promise I’m watching the weather just as closely as you are.

My goal is always to make your session happen when conditions allow while making sure you’re getting the experience and images you’re hoping for. 🤍

I have been doing a ton of extended family sessions lately 💫 There is something so special about getting everyone together in one place. Grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, little ones running around — the people who don’t always get to be together as often as they’d like.

And here’s something I always want families to know before their session: it does not have to go perfectly.

Sometimes everyone shows up, the kids cooperate, we breeze through the big group photos and think, wow, look at us go! 😂

Honestly, some of those imperfect moments end up being my favorites. The giggles, the chaos, the little personalities, the grandparents loving on their grandbabies — that is your family. And I want to photograph that, not just a perfectly posed version of it.

So if you've been putting off an extended family session because you’re worried your kids won't cooperate… please don't. 🤎
