Hopefully Facebook doesn’t diminish the quality too much but I wanted to share this photo I took of the night sky!

Sometimes when I look up I realize how incredibly small I am and just how incredibly mighty God is.

“He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.” Psalm 147:4

I took this photo simply trying to capture the beauty of the stars, but when I zoomed in, I was amazed by just how many were there. Stars that I couldn’t even see clearly with my own eyes were captured in this single frame. 🌌

One of my favorite things about photography is slowing down and looking a little closer. There is so much beauty hiding in the details we often pass right by. ⏱️

And this is also why my love for photography extends beyond families and people. Since the beginning of my journey, I’ve had a passion for capturing creation itself…the stars, the trees, the flowers, the seasons, and all the little reminders of God’s handiwork that surround us every day. 🌳

Who created the universe filled with more stars than we could ever comprehend also knows us individually. He knows our names, our stories, our hearts, the exact number of hairs on our head, down to every detail of our lives.

That kind of power is incomprehensible.
That kind of Creator is worthy of awe.

Dogs help teach us one of life’s hardest lessons: how to love deeply while knowing our time together is never long enough. Their lives are only a chapter in ours, but to them, we are their entire story.

That’s why preserving those memories matters so much to me. Photos become more than pictures. They become a way to hold onto the joy, companionship, and unconditional love they brought into our lives long after their paws stop walking beside us.

Some of the moments I treasure most are the ones happening all around the room. Guests tearing up during speeches, the laughter shared between friends, grandparents quietly watching generations gathered together.

There’s something special about being surrounded by the people who helped shape your story. Those who have loved, supported, prayed for, encouraged, and celebrated alongside you through every season. At Living Root Visuals, these are the moments I want you to always remember.
