A little change is coming to this page. 🤍
As AI continues to grow and the ways photographs can be saved, altered, and manipulated become harder to control, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the babies and children who have been trusted in front of my camera.
Moving forward, I will be extremely limiting or completely avoiding posting identifiable images of babies and children publicly.
Because of this change, my feed might start looking a little different. You may see blurred faces, emojis covering faces, images from behind, tiny details, movement, connection, and creative crops. Their faces don’t need to be visible for their story to still be beautiful.
Potential clients will still have the opportunity to privately view an example gallery so you can see what a full session and finished gallery can include before booking.
I know this could make marketing harder. I know it could affect engagement, and honestly, it could even cost me business.
And I’m okay with that.
There isn’t a booking, like, share, or amount of engagement that is more important to me than protecting the little people I photograph. Especially on a public page like Facebook or Instagram.
Your galleries aren’t changing. The way I photograph your families isn’t changing. I’m simply being more intentional about what I believe belongs publicly on the internet.
This feels like the right change for me, my business, and the families who trust me with some of their most important memories. 🤍
