Photographing our veterans on a once in a lifetime trip to DC was another incredible experience! This world war 2 veteran was 98 years old and the national guard members around him were in their 20s. Seeing the younger generation honor the older generation of hero’s is something I’ll never forget!

Yesterday I got behind the camera to capture my son and his friends prom photos. Since these 2 have been friends thru 4H for several years it was only fitting to add a couple baby goats born this week to their photos.

In the season of giving I can't think of a more deserving person that Shelly, who is a widowed mom to 7 children. When my son was diagnosed last year with type 1 diabetes, she was the first to come to my house and help me as she has children who are also type 1. She continues to pour out to those in her community feeding the homeless, bringing everyone and anyone she can to church, and truly being Jesus with skin on. If you could help by donating or sharing this campaign to help get them safe housing please do so. Please pray for Shelly and her family that we may get them in a safe home in the New Year! Happy Thanksgiving to my family, friends and clients. Today I am so thankful for the memories captured this past year and the clients I've been blessed to work with. While today is a day of thankfulness I am reminded of the empty chairs that many will have at their table this year. This year has brought many challenges for so many that I know. In the midst of those struggles I pray that the God of the universe will surround you with his peace, love and his presence today. Thankful that while we have photographs to remind of us of those who are no longer with us, that we have the promise of eternal life this Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!
