š¤ A little update from me, effective immediately š¤
Iāve made the decision to no longer share identifiable images of children on my photography page, even when a signed model release has been provided.
With technology constantly changing and evolving, I feel that itās important for me as a photographer to be proactive when it comes to protecting the privacy and safety of the children I have the privilege of photographing.
Once an image is shared online, I canāt control where it may go or how it may be used. What I can control is what I choose to make publicly available from my own page.
My clientsā privacy, the safety of their little ones, and the trust you place in me will always matter more than social media content or growing my business. š¤
Iām also currently working on going through my page and website and removing previously shared images that show identifiable children. This will take a little bit of time as I work through everything, but I want to make sure Iām being intentional and thorough throughout the process.
Going forward, there may still be times when I share photos from sessions that include children, but their faces will be blurred or otherwise not visible/identifiable. This allows me to continue sharing the beautiful moments and memories I capture while being more mindful of each childās privacy.
Iāll still be capturing all of those genuine, sweet, and meaningful moments that make your family uniquely yours. Iāll just be a little more intentional about which images I choose to share publicly.
