I have begun to have dreams where I am in class with my senior clients and EVERYONE got a copy of the syllabus before class but me. Everyone else has done prep work and reading besides me. And it’s one of the dreams where you can’t read anything so when I DO finally get a copy of the syllabus all I can do is flip pages frantically looking for a word I know. I wake up SO stressed every time. This job requires sacrifice.

Seniors, have you heard the old wives tale that if you post a senior Sunday, or any post with your senior photos for the matter, and you DONT tag your photographer your E Newton bracelets begin to SNAP one by one and your Jane Wynn necklaces will tarnish over night. Better safe than sorry huh?

Hello :) it’s been a while since its been my face in one of these posts and not a couple or senior. Here’s a little life update. We booked these photos with Sarah Dean many many months ago, hoping we might be announcing or celebrating something. And while we aren’t announcing or celebrating exactly what we had hoped, we are still celebrating. Celebrating our garden and the abundance she has given us. Celebrating our home that we have built into a sanctuary. Celebrating the pets that have been by our side through every step in this journey. Celebrating that we’ll never be in our early 30’s again with so much love for one another we would undertake a huge task like IVF. The last 14 days have been wild but we are happily moving on to our next steps :) so for now we’re celebrating that we did it and that there’s a chance. I’m so grateful for all the understanding and grace my clients have shown me, planning around IVF sucks but my amazing clients made it suck a little bit less :) ta ta for now.
