"Clearing Storm Pacific Coast"
A moody sunset from one of my favorite beaches on the Olympic Coast-Rialto. I love it when the upper layer of clouds lights up from the setting sun just above the lower layer of storm clouds.

First time in a very long time -- I just posted an image on my 500px account yesterday (http://500px.com/snovalleyphotography). It actually make the "Popular Photos" list, unbelievable! Guess I've got no excuses for not posting more.

This one was taken back in September of last year, during an impromptu road trip up into the cascade mountain range in central Washington state. It was a beautiful evening with a gorgeous view of the valley. In the distance you can see one of many active forest fires at the time.
