I have experience with family portraits, wedding photography, and a vast array of other genres and situations. I am not a traditional wedding photographer. I am a photojournalist who applies the storytelling quality of classic documentary photography to the events of your wedding day or event. Your wedding day is a celebration of YOU, and of your beautiful, quirky, funny relationship. I create bold and vibrant images that capture the essence of who you are, both as individuals and as a couple, through the eyes of the loved ones surrounding you. I capture how you feel on your wedding day, as well as how those around you experience it. You’ll experience joy and laughter as you relive the funny, quirky moments of your day, and feel deeply loved when you see the sweet, quieter ones. My photos will take you on an emotional journey that is intimate, exciting, and – at times – surprising. I started taking pictures as a young man in the Army and used photography for more that 38 years in law enforcement.
