Back in time….this photo came from my first Santa Fe Workshop. Originally it looked like very different , color, full length crop, less dramatic but there was something compelling about the original. 10 years later I still had it and found the vision for the finished photo. It was a dark and stormy night….

This storm was worth the 8 hour drive!The supercell produced prolific lightning and both dynamic and hung around till dark.

It’s not a tornado but it’s just as thrilling. The peaceful scene with the reflection of the mammatus clouds and the tree were perfect at sunset.
