Some weekends just hit different.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we were at the One Wish Ranch with our tools in hand, helping at a place built around giving deserving families experiences and memories they’ll never forget.

Today, we’re in Lewes, Delaware, fishing rods in hand, making memories with our own family.

It’s a pretty incredible contrast.

One day you’re giving your time to help someone else make memories. The next, God gives you the opportunity to make a few of your own.

That’s what Faithful Pursuit Media is really about.

Not the biggest buck.
Not the biggest fish.
Not the perfect video.

It’s about who you’re beside, who you’re serving, and the memories you make along the way. From the mountains of Pennsylvania to the waters of Delaware, we’ll take long weekends like this every time!

Serve well. Love your people. Make it memorable. 🙏

If you hunt long enough, eventually you’re going to have a shot that leaves you questioning what to do next.

How long should you wait?
Should you start tracking?
When should you back out?
When is it time to call in a tracking dog?

We’ve been in talks with John over at Luna's Deer Tracking, who offers FREE deer tracking with highly trained dogs in the PA & MD area, and this fall we’re planning to join them on a real track with our cameras rolling!

Our goal is to take you along for the entire process and show what happens after the shot, what signs to look for, what NOT to do, when to call a tracker, and what these incredible dogs are capable of.

Hopefully you’ll never need them... but if you do, knowing what to do in those first few hours can make all the difference.

“What do you want to do for your 8th birthday?” Without hesitation, Ethan answered “Go fishing on a boat!”

No expensive party.
No video games.
No big gifts.

Just a couple fishing rods, a can of worms, a boat and people he loves.

Five hours later, we caught a total of 51 fish and created memories that will last far longer than anything that could have been wrapped in a box.

As I watched these boys smile all day, I couldn’t help but think about Jesus calling fishermen to become “fishers of men.”

Sometimes the greatest gifts we can give our children aren’t things at all. They’re our time, our attention, and opportunities to experience God’s creation together.

One day they won’t remember every toy they received but they’ll remember the excitement of hearing each other yell, “Fish on!” and they’ll remember who was sitting beside them in the boat.

Happy 8th Birthday, Ethan! Here’s to another year of chasing fish, chasing adventures, and most importantly…chasing what matters most.

One day they’ll forget the fish they caught. They’ll never forget the mornings we spent together.

For the last week and a half, I've been keeping a close eye on a little cottontail rabbit nest beside our house. There are seven tiny babies tucked away in it, and every day I'd quietly check to make sure they were doing ok...then today's storm rolled through.

After the rain stopped, I walked over to check on them and my heart sank. The nest was completely flooded and the bunnies were scattered everywhere.

One looked perfectly fine. Two were soaking wet but still moving. Three were cold, soaked and barely responding. They honestly looked like they weren't going to make it. The seventh bunny was nowhere to be found.

I gathered the five wet babies and brought them inside. We wrapped them in towels, carefully dried each one with a hair dryer, and slowly warmed them back up. We even made a little emergency nest using a bucket, a towel and a couple hand warmers set on low so they could stay together and feel safe while they warmed up.

For about an hour and a half we waited and little by little, they started moving again and acting normal! Before long, every single one of them was hopping around like nothing had happened. It was one of those moments that reminds you how tough even the tiniest creatures can be.

When we took them back outside, we got one more surprise. The missing seventh bunny had made its way back to the nest and looked perfectly healthy!

One by one, our family returned each little bunny to the nest. Then, just before dark, mom came back to her nest for her evening feeding. Sometimes the best stories happen right in your own backyard!

This weekend, we traveled North with Keith Rutt to the annual Camo Cares event and 3D shoot! We spent the day shooting our bows, making memories, meeting new friends and supporting an organization that’s making a real difference in the lives of children facing serious illnesses.

The highlight of the weekend was hearing the stories of the kids and families whose lives have been impacted through Camo Cares. Listening to those testimonies was a powerful reminder that the outdoors has an incredible way of bringing hope, healing, and unforgettable memories. Camo Cares and the One Wish Foundation are two organizations that do this incredibly well and we are proud to put our support behind them both!

Thank you to everyone who organized the event and to all those who came out to support such an amazing cause. We can’t wait to be back next year!

The greatest Father's Day gift isn't something that comes in a box. It's hearing your child ask, "Dad, can we go fishing?" or "Can we go hunting?" or "Can we go outside and play?"
