Every summer there are a few sessions that I look forward to all year long, and flower field season is definitely one of them.

There’s just something about watching kids wander through rows of sunflowers, hearing parents laugh as they chase little ones down the paths, and seeing couples steal a quiet moment together while the sun starts to set. It never feels rushed. It never feels posed. It just feels like summer.

This year I'll be photographing Flower Field Mini Sessions at Willowbrook Farms on July 14th, and I can't wait to spend an evening surrounded by blooms, golden light, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with family life.

The flowers won't last forever, but the photographs will. 🌻

One of the sweetest parts of my job is getting to watch families grow over the years. ❤️

I recently photographed Graham's 1st Birthday Session at The Lens Lounge, and it feels like just yesterday I was photographing the Cinsa family while they were expecting their first baby. Now they're a family of five with three beautiful kiddos, and it's such an honor to continue documenting these milestones for them.

There is something so special about first birthday sessions. The chubby cheeks, the wobbly toddler steps, the curious little personalities that are starting to shine through—this stage goes by so quickly, and these photos become treasures before you know it.

✨ Tip for future first birthday sessions: Schedule your session about 3-4 weeks before your child's actual birthday. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy your images, use them for party decorations or invitations, and celebrate without feeling rushed.

Happy 1st Birthday, Graham! Thank you, Cinsa family, for trusting me to tell your story year after year. Watching your family grow has truly been a gift.

There's just something about the beach at sunset.

The kids can run barefoot, the water keeps everyone moving and laughing, and somehow the sunsets always show off.

This year I'm heading to Warren Dunes for my Sunset Beach Minis, and I can't wait.

These are some of my favorite sessions of the summer because they don't feel stiff or overly posed. We play in the sand, splash in the water, chase the light, and create images that actually feel like summer.

One thing parents often tell me after a newborn session:

"That was so much easier than I expected!"

As a mom myself, I know those first few weeks can feel overwhelming. That's why I keep my newborn sessions laidback and baby-led. We take breaks when needed, follow your baby's cues, and never force complicated poses.

My goal isn't just beautiful photos—it's creating a calm, enjoyable experience for your family.

The sleepy smiles and squishy cheeks are just a bonus. ❤️

I photographed these months ago and somehow never shared them. 😅

I recently came across this gallery again and immediately fell in love with it all over. The talent in ESA is unreal. The strength, flexibility, creativity, and pure determination these aerialists bring to their craft is inspiring.

These are the kinds of sessions that remind me why I love creating artistic portraits so much. I’m so grateful for projects like these that challenge me creatively and allow me to create artwork that celebrates what makes people unique.

And honestly, I never take for granted that my art helps provide for my family. Getting to do something I love while supporting the people I love most is a gift I’m thankful for every day.

A little overdue, but these images definitely deserve their time in the spotlight. ❤️

I was recently hired by Edible Michiana to photograph Willowbrook Farms for a magazine feature, and this assignment quickly became one of my favorites.

The cover photo isn't mine, but the images featured in the inside spread are, and I'm so excited to finally share them!

I absolutely fell in love with Willowbrook Farms while photographing there. It's beautiful, peaceful, and full of character. I enjoyed it so much that I'm already planning a mini session event there later this summer.
