Sun is out, hallelujah 🎶

Those lyrics hit a little different when your best friend’s warrior of a baby boy is named after the god of sun himself, Apollo.

It’s truly amazing to look back and remember that the first time we were all here together, Syd & Jake were slicing into a heart-shaped cake I did my damndest to make all on my own to reveal blue layers inside and learned they’d welcome a son. From that first 5 week appointment where we waited in anticipation for confirmation to maternity photos in a hospital hallway (literal hours before he ended up arriving - so early might I add) and “graduation” photos in the NICU when Apollo was finally big enough and strong enough to come home - we’ve truly gotten to share every milestone.

Look at him now - continuing to shine the brightest light in all of our lives ☀️
