If the past couple of weddings have been any indication of how epic and beautiful the weddings this season are going to be...we are STOKED. Once again, last Saturday started out rainy and gloomy, but cleared just before the ceremony, and gave us the most serene sunset on Sebago Lake. Kaitlyn and Ally, THANK YOU for bringing me along, I can’t wait to share more. Congrats!!!

We’d certainly recommend Sunday River as an excellent venue for any couple, but as an insider tip, there’s basically no one else there in the fall! Not only does that mean you get the incredible foliage as your backdrop, but it also means that the place feels like it’s yours!

In this case we got extra lucky with a freshly remodeled lobby to play around in for couples portraits AND we didn’t have to worry about cropping hotel guests out of the backgrounds! Score!

As proof positive that we’ve been staying busy, documenting unreal love between all of these incredible couples we are so fortunate to know, somehow we missed posting anything on this engagement session! And sure, these are some kick ass shots, but wait until we post the images we took when it got dark and we started getting creative with some off camera flash down by the stream… you’ll see!! There’s a handful of early 2000s album covers featuring these two cuties in there! lol.

Ally and Mason, I am so so so beyond thrilled that you added videography to your wedding day. After that day, I would have been depressed if the audio and movement wasn’t captured. Your vows had everyone in tears, and the toasts given by both of your parents are absolutely priceless (get the tissues ready for the Highlight Film later!).

A storybook wedding, full of endless little moments. A dreary morning storm, giving way to an immaculate glow. A picture perfect locale, setting the stage for friends and family to celebrate. This past weekend was an absolute show of what a wedding day can be when you put it all on the table, and throw a celebration worth celebrating itself! Despite getting off to a cold, rainy start, by the end of the night the sky was glowing and it was getting hot on the dance floor!

Megan + Jamiza’s ceremony was one we’ll always remember. These 2 beautiful brides made their day absolutely their own, and hauled a trapeze rig all the way from Texas up to Maine to provide some pre-ceremony entertainment that had everyone in awe. These were not paid performers either, these were some of the couple’s closest friends, which made it all-the-more meaningful and magical.
