Charleston Camera Club Charleston Camera Club is a community of amateur and professional photographers dedicated to their passion for photography and nature.

Our club was founded in 1933 and we are located in Charleston, West Virginia. Effective at the end of August, 2011, our new & improved website is up! While there are a few features that are not 100% operational, new items are being turned up weekly. Please check it often to see the improvements!

We had a great time at Caldwell Farm LLC for our sunflower walk! It was hot but there were many varieties of flowers, bees, bugs, and good company!

Next meeting is Tuesday, August 18th at 6PM. It will be a competition with the theme “frame within a frame.” It isn’t too late to join in on the fun. Titles must be submitted by 8am Sunday and you must be an active member to compete. Hope to see you there!

Today we head to Lake Shawnee in Princeton to chase ghosts, capture evidence, and hopefully NOT become part of the local folklore. 😂

We’re asking the spirits for safe passage, limited electrical interference, cooperative paranormal activity, and absolutely NO hitchhikers coming home with us.

The Charleston Camera Club goes to Ridenour Lake!

We got together to capture some wildlife, nature, and scenic images. If you weren’t there you should have been!

It was a little warm but company was enjoyed and moments were captured. We even made some friends with the local Turing Pages - Silent Book Club and reunited with a former member. Where should we go next?
