💌 A Valentine’s Gift That Actually Lasts 💌

Here’s my honest advice, don’t do what I did.

Don’t wait until life forces your hand.

Last year, Scott asked for photos just two weeks before he went in for brain tumor removal. I almost couldn’t do it. The what-ifs were loud. There were tears before our session… and during it. I kept thinking, What if this becomes the last record of us, the way we are right now?

But my photographer, a dear, dear friend, gently reminded me why it mattered.

Not because something bad might happen.
But because so much had already happened. 🩷

BOOKED 💗

Today was a huge success with the mini-sessions! 🎉 And, I'm so looking forward to tomorrow's sessions.

Because this is such a great way to catch back up on so many that I wasn't able to shoot last year, as well as work some new clients in.....next Saturday's weather isn't looking so great, but Sunday is.

Sunny and near 60.☀️

I'll be opening a few spots for next Sunday afternoon at this location. It's classic and beautiful in downtown Fort Smith. Will work great for seniors, families, couples, kiddos, etc. 20 min, $195 - just message me for more info or any questions you may have.

Portraits on a sunny, crisp 60-degree February day versus 110 degrees in July?

No sweat. No melting. No rushing. Hair and makeup actually cooperate. Everyone is happy. I’m honestly wondering why I don’t do this more.

And let’s be real. Checking this off the list now means you’re not dragging it around in your head all spring and summer. It’s done. Finished. One less thing hanging over you. That alone feels like a win.

In all seriousness though, I am genuinely so excited about this.

I have two people looking at time slots, which will leave just three openings.

If this has been on your to-do list for far too long and you keep telling yourself “I’ll do it later,” grab one.

February light is beautiful, the weather is on our side, and the timing could not be better.

And, so far, I have families booked - shere are my seniors?

You guys! I think we’ve broken the internet!! 😂

Between next weekend’s mini session bookings and all of the amazing messages about your wedding dates - I am working my way through.

I’m fighting this headache I’ve had with the flu and am going to get off of my phone for a bit, but I’ll be back and should have worked my way through by early tomorrow since I’m not able to go to church.
