Christo Yavacheff died on May 31st at age 84. I spent a wonderful day with my wife Myra and daughter Alicia in Central Park photographing The Gates back in 2005. The Gates were a group of gates comprising a site-specific work of art by Bulgarian artist Christo Yavacheff and French artist Jeanne-Claude, known jointly as Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The artists installed 7,503 vinyl "gates" along 23 miles (37 km) of pathways in Central Park in New York City. "Wikipedia"

I was impressed by the way Twitter took care of an infringement of one of my photos so I thought I pass it along. Someone used a self-portrait of my face as their Twitter profile photo. It was a photo I created of me making a crazy face for an ad that ran several years ago. I complained to the person using the photo but they ignored my request. So I filled in Twitter’s online form used for those who feel their brand or photo is being infringed. Within a week they sent me a note saying that they “blocked access” to the photo and it no longer appears as the profile photo. I was happy to see they are on top of this kind of violation and thought I pass it along.
