What an experience to stand up on the high ground at Fort Preble watching the waves come in and listen to the thunderous sounds as they hit the fort. 🌊

I am still in shock that the beloved fish shacks at Willard Beach are gone. It was surreal to stand out on the point today and watch the iconic fish shacks float away. In my first photo, I was not out on the point to capture a photo of the shacks, however thought I’d turn to my left and just snap a few photos not knowing it would be the last time I’d capture them in a photo.

Rough seas… This was the scene along coastal Maine yesterday. For scale, this lighthouse stands 77ft from its granite base. If only I could have been there 2-1/2 hours earlier when it was high tide. 🌊
