Connection, inclusivity, belonging, curiosity, care. The values that guide my business aren’t separate from my q***rness. They’re intertwined with it.

It’s part of how I understand connection. It’s part of how I approach people. It’s part of why creating spaces where folks feel seen, respected, celebrated, and comfortable being themselves matters so deeply to me.

A photo from Halley & Jarod’s schooner elopement in Maine. There is just something about this photo that I love. Maybe because it was serendipitous - looking up to capture the masts against the overcast sky and a bird flew into the frame at the perfect moment.

I now find myself not only observing the moments and emotions, but also paying attention to the surroundings throughout a wedding day and incorporating more of those photos in my galleries. To me they set the scene. The sights, the smells, the textures, how the air felt (can you tell that I’m a Ta**us lmao). My goal will always be for my couples to look at their photos and feel like they are back in that time and place. 🤍

A quiet Northern California redwood elopement tucked beneath some of the tallest trees in the world.🌲

E & J exchanged vows within the stillness of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. They were surrounded by the towering trees as golden light filtered through the leaves. No pressure. No performance. Just intention. And lots of love.

One of my favorite things about intimate weddings and elopements is how much space they create to sit in the experience of your day. The slow breaths before vows. The way your hands instinctively reach for each other. The emotional little glances that happen when nobody’s rushing you from one thing to the next. That space is so beautiful.
