Psalm 37:7 speaks directly to those moments when life feels unfair. We see others prosper through dishonest means, shortcuts, or selfish ambition, and we wonder why God seems silent. Yet the psalmist calls us to a different response: rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.
Waiting is not weakness. Trusting God's timing is not passive. It is an act of faith that says, “Lord, I believe You are working even when I cannot see it.”
God's plans are not rushed. His justice is not delayed. His faithfulness never fails. While we wait, He is shaping our hearts, strengthening our character, and preparing the way ahead.
Today, release your worries into God's hands. Let go of comparison. Rest in His presence. Trust that He is working all things according to His perfect purpose.
Scripture:
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
— Psalm 37:7
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, teach me to rest in You when I am tempted to worry or compare my journey with others. Help me trust Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your faithfulness. Give me patience to wait and confidence that You are working for my good. Amen.
