I am beyond excited to invite you to the launch party for my photography project, La Fuerza de Nuestra Lengua: Raíces, Fortaleza y Rostros de Habla Hispana. This project celebrates the strength, beauty, and diversity of the Hispanic/Latine community through portraits and personal stories that honor our shared heritage and individuality.

I'm thrilled to be working on a project celebrating Hispanic and Latino communities' beauty, strength, and diversity. My goal? To capture portraits and stories from 3,000 participants—each one a unique face with an incredible story to tell.

Exciting Milestone!

This past Friday, I had the honor of conducting the very first interview and portrait session for my pilot project at Yale University! Meeting the first participant in person was an incredibly moving experience. Their story of resilience, struggle, strength, and determination was nothing short of inspiring. Despite some hiccups (hello, closed Law Library! 😅), we found a way to capture the essence of their journey. 📸

This session reaffirmed the why behind this project—showcasing the beauty and power of our community through real, raw stories. I can’t wait to share more as we continue this journey together!
