Some families you have the privilege of knowing for years, and getting to photograph them as their family grows is such a gift.

This summer, I had the joy of spending a little time with this beautiful family at their home for a quick session during the girls senior photo session— capturing the kids exactly as they are in this season of life.

One of my favorite things about photographing twins is watching their bond. The way they just know each other, the little looks, the laughter, and the connection that comes from growing up side by side. It’s such a special relationship to witness, especially after knowing this family for so many years.

So glad we were able to capture these family moments.

What a beautiful summer evening at Mixville in Cheshire!

This session was extra special because we got to capture both family and senior photos — all in one gorgeous location. From the beach to the floral surroundings and the park, Mixville gave us such a beautiful variety of backdrops to tell their story.
I absolutely loved being able to capture this special time for this family and celebrate such an exciting milestone!

Some sessions are extra special, and this one definitely falls into that category.

A longtime friend and client found this amazing community garden for our mini sessions, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to round out the end of summer.

And these boys…One is heading off to his freshman year of college, while the other is starting his freshman year of high school. Two very different chapters, but both such big milestones.

One of my favorite things about photographing this family over the years is that Mom makes it a priority to capture them every single year. I know how much she treasures these photos now, and I also know that someday, the boys will treasure them too.

I’m so grateful to be the one behind the camera for these memories year after year. What a gift it is to watch a family grow.
