Kenya ❤️ I remember telling her about this shoot and wanting to get my artistic vibes out of the dust and I had this cute robe that I had been gifted for my maternity photos but I just never got around to em. So I wanted to share it and I knew it would fit her perfectly. Was I right? 👌👌👌

Here’s how I learned to take better pictures as a beginner photographer. 🎥

First of all, here’s what didn’t work…

1. Follow a bunch of other photographers and try every style 👎

2. Pinterest my way out of anything 🤣🤣👎

3. Bring prompt cards to a session (just made me look and feel inexperienced) 😭

4. Play with different settings for each photo! 👎

5. Not be specific enough with my guiding poses.

What worked:
1. Practiced with my own family at home and found my own style 👍

2. Repeated my fav poses with every client!

3. Memorize my fav prompts and use em everytime!

4. Use the same settings or similar to make editing easier!

5. Show clients with my own body what the best posing for their body type is! 👍
