Two photographers does not automatically mean a team who knows how to work together.
And we think couples deserve to know that.
We photograph every wedding together, and after seven years, we know each other’s rhythm pretty damn well. We know when to split up, when we both need to stay put, and when the other person already has something covered.
That kind of rhythm doesn’t happen just because there are two cameras in the room. It comes from doing this together over and over again.
Because your wedding isn’t the place to figure it out.
You have much better things to do. Like having the time of your life.

Beer pong, but make it classy.

This was maybe five minutes of their wedding day.

Five minutes. Two photographers. And somehow it became its own little story.

While one of us was photographing the game, the other was catching the details, the reactions, the setup, the light, and everything happening around it.

That’s one of our favorite things about working as a team. We don’t just photograph the big moments from two angles. We get to take the smallest parts of a wedding day and see them completely differently.

We planned to go see the horses.
We didn’t plan every photo we were going to take once we got there.

There’s a difference.

We knew the location, we knew the light, and we had ideas going in. But we also knew we didn’t need to turn those ideas into a checklist.

So we gave them some direction, let them spend time with the horses, and paid attention to what was happening in front of us.

Some photos were guided. Some happened completely on their own. And together, they tell the story so much better than a list of predetermined shots ever could.

We believe in going into a wedding day with a plan. We just don’t believe every photo needs one.

Hot take: your guests shouldn’t just be background characters in your wedding gallery.

You chose these people for a reason.

So while we’re photographing the big moments, we’re also watching the rest of the room. Who’s laughing. Who’s crying. Who has fully committed to the dance floor. Who’s sneaking cake. What your friends are doing when you’re not looking.

Because ten years from now, we don’t think you’ll only want to remember how everything looked.

You’ll want to remember who was there and what it felt like to have everyone you love in one room.

We'll absolutely guide you when you need it, but our goal has always been the same: help you be present with your people, and document everything that unfolds naturally around you.
Your wedding only happens once. We'd rather you remember living it than posing for it.

A look back at Kelsey and Matthew's wedding at the Olde Mill Inn!
We always say the little things end up being the big things. The perfume she wore. The way he looked at her walking down the aisle. The cigar they shared at the end of the night.

This Asbury Park wedding was exactly what documentary wedding photography is all about. There are people in these photos who have no idea they're part of someone's wedding gallery.

And that's exactly how Bri & Toly wanted it.

Their day wasn't about creating a perfect version of reality. It was about documenting what was actually there... the beach crowds, the curious onlookers, the wind, the trolley, the laughter, and every beautifully moment in between.

Woven throughout the day were meaningful Ukrainian traditions, including sharing a Korovai, a traditional wedding bread that symbolizes prosperity and unity. The challenge? Each takes a bite without using their hands, and whoever gets the bigger bite is said to run the household.

Bri won!

These are the kinds of weddings we'll never get tired of documenting. Honest, joyful, and completely true to the people living them.

I just put this together and had an out of body experience. This is the first time that we can appreciate the fact that we often don’t post our work. Coming back to this gallery and seeing it all come together, it is truly the coolest thing.
