I’m not even sure how this is possible! 5 years in the blink of an eye! I have been so lucky to have met and photographed so many “Amazing”people/families in Sparta! Some of those I have photographed are no longer with us. I am a better person to have met them and continue to pray for their families! What an amazing Journey it has been. Thank You to our Awesome team!
Welcome to the March issue of Sparta Living and what marks our five-year anniversary issue. Whether this is your first, 60th or some number in between issue of Sparta Living, it is indeed a very special one. This month, we’ll take a short departure from our usual resident family feature to introduce you to the women that make up our Sparta Living family: myself, Teresa, Megan and Nicci.
As I write this letter, looking at all the covers we assembled for this anniversary issue, I reminisce about my early days launching Sparta Living and smile. It feels like so little time has passed since we brought the Fagerstens into your home in 2016 with our first issue. At the same time, it feels like forever ago. Every issue, every story, every business we’ve featured has a story behind the story. And those stories matter. They matter to those that tell them, those who write them and those that read them. Want to make my head spin? Call our publication a “flyer, a newsletter, that paper, or a mailer” We are so much more. In years and decades from now, our little Sparta Living will serve as a time-stamp for generations to come.
