My name is Brandi and I started my photography business in college as a weekend hobby. I would like to turn this into more than that!

I am a photographer based in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area but I am always willing to travel for sessions!

So it's been a while since I last posted 😅

I've been busy working on my Masters and posting/doing photography was on the back burner. But I wanted to come back on and say I want to do some graduation photos!

Graduation photos are some of my favorites because it marks an accomplishment of a huge milestone! So from now until May I will be offering graduation photoshoots!

I have three graduation packages that range in budget! If you would be interested in scheduling a graduation photoshoot for high school or college, just send me a message!

Hi everyone! To start the year off I've decided to share a first look at this year's pricing guides to those who are interested! My plan is to allow you to give feedback on pricing and what you think should be included.

My goal is to make it a conversation where I'm focused on your feedback.

I plan to create a Facebook group where you'll also receive first information on updates, exclusive offers, and first dibs on open dates!

This little girl gave me all the inspiration I needed to try something new 🧚🏻‍♀️✨

I've always loved whimsical/fantasy edits and these two pictures were just the perfect canvas!

The last two photos are the original photos. I wanted to do something simple that just felt right in the photo.

Life update! I cut my hair and decided one degree wasn't enough 🤷🏼‍♀️ Currently working on the first class of my Masters! So far it's been great and I'm excited to continue learning!

If your interested in what I'm studying, my degree is in Human Factors. If you don't know what human factors is, it's the study of understanding human capabilities, and then applying that knowledge to the improvement of equipment design, tools, systems and processes of work.

My interest is in the research and development of large unmanned aircraft systems and the user interfaces of those systems and general aircraft.

"Sorry, we're so awkward and don't know how to pose." 😬

This is probably the statement I hear most before a shoot!

Two things:
1. Everyone feels this way, but I think of it as showing your personality. Most of the time awkward/laughing photos are the best because it's who you are! I love editing and laughing at moments that are just to perfect to plan.

2. It's a photographers job to pose you. As a photographer, I give prompts, such as, "bear hug from behind" or "act like you're drunk walking." They are usually a great way to get you laughing and having fun! It's also up to you how you interpret them, but of course I'll help pose you for the serious ones too!
And of course if at any time you aren't comfortable with certain poses don't be afraid to tell me! That also goes for any ideas you have that you would like to try!

I strive for my sessions to be light hearted and fun for everyone! ❤️

Couples photos are probably some of my favorite to take. I love capturing the cute moments that just melt your heart ❤️

If I offer Fall mini sessions who would be interested?

I'm thinking about four or five, 20-30 minute sessions for around $50 each. Date and location could be determined based on interest. Most likely wouldn't include props, more of a casual/candid shoot. You would get around 20 photos, maybe more. It would definitely be a great opportunity for updated family or couple pictures!

I've never done mini sessions because I didn't feel people would be interested if I don't have props or a themed set up.

It was raining in SC today and productivity was definitely down ⬇️

Rain days are always great days to be cozy. What's your go to thing to do on rainy days? 🌧️
