Survived another year of rally in Sturgis 🙌🏻 Honestly, its not that bad living up in a little cul-de-sac. Free concerts every night (not all are good but free is free haha), constant white noise as the low rumble of bikes carries on through the town, what's not to love 🤷🏼‍♀️

This summer has gone by in a blink. Can't believe we've made it to August already! Homeschool starts later this month, and as I'm adjusting to life with a newborn as a mom of four, I've been reminiscing a lot over how much things have changed in the last year. So when I hit these golden hour glowy feels on my scroll through last fall, I decided that's what I would share today because they're too pretty not to be up on the social media feed ✨️

After Julia + Asher recieve the eucharist they turned around and shared the body or a blessing with each of their guests. It was an incredible thing to witness. Especially as a parent, I came imagine a more intimate and special moment in the wedding day. Remaining reverent the couple shared a soft smile and/or shed a tear as all of their loved ones filed through the line one by one.

I'll be honest, when we got married I (Sarah, Isaac doesn't run socials😅) never even thought about being the eucharistic minister. In fact, I almost tried to convince Isaac to not have a full mass since so many of my family in attendance were not Catholic. After going through the diocese retreat at Terra Sancta Retreat Center we decided the full mass was important to us, and we did opt for that. I encourage it for all our Catholic couples! And witnessing Julia + Asher's mass was a small reminder of just how important recieving the eucharist in your first hour as husband and wife really is. The guests who weren't Catholic even went through and respectfujust crossed their arms for a simple blessing. Truly such a gift.
