‼️📷 IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM TIFFANY BROWN PHOTOGRAPHY

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of discussion within the photography community about no longer sharing images of babies and children due to concerns about AI and the possibility of innocent photographs being manipulated into inappropriate or sexually explicit content.

First, I want to say that I completely understand these concerns. The technology is disturbing, and the misuse of AI to exploit children is something we should all take very seriously. We must remain aware, speak up and advocate for stronger protections for children.

The heartbreaking reality is that people can use AI to create disturbing narratives and pull faces—or similar-looking faces—from images found anywhere online. This can involve photographs from generations ago through today, meaning it could happen to anyone. That is terrifying.

Photographers are not the problem. The individuals misusing this technology—and those allowing it to continue—are the problem, and we should all take a stand against them.

With that being said, I also want to be transparent about where I stand as a photographer.

With a parent’s permission, I will continue sharing the beautiful, innocent images of the babies and children I photograph. I don’t believe the actions of criminals should force us to stop celebrating childhood, displaying meaningful photography or sharing the beautiful memories we create.

I also understand that there isn’t one “right” decision for every photographer. If another photographer chooses to stop publicly sharing images of children, I completely respect that choice. Every photographer must decide what feels right for their business and clients.

For Tiffany Brown Photography, the final decision will always belong to the parents.

If you are comfortable with me sharing your child’s images, I will continue to proudly showcase them. If you prefer for your images to remain completely private, I will honor that request without hesitation or question.

Your child. Your choice. ❤️

I also encourage everyone to be careful about the information being shared online. There is a lot of fear and misinformation surrounding supposed “new laws” and what photographers can or cannot legally post. The legal issues involving AI-generated sexual content and minors are far more complicated than many social media posts make them appear.

What isn’t complicated is this:

Children deserve protection.
Parents deserve informed choices.
Photographers deserve the ability to make responsible decisions for their businesses.

I will continue creating beautiful and innocent images that celebrate childhood, while always respecting the wishes of every family who trusts me to preserve their memories. ❤️

I’ve officially ran out of space already in my studio and I have added SO many new props, clothing etc. it’s time for more storage space.

I haven’t officially made it public 100%, BUT if you already don’t know, I am now
offering Newborn, milestone and first birthday sessions in the studio. Of course I’m still doing family, maternity and seniors! Once I get my studio all setup with all my new goodies, I’ll be posting photos so you can all see what to expect if you plan on booking with me.
