This session almost didn't happen. About 15 minutes before the session, it started pouring rain. It wasn't a little sprinkle that you could snap a couple of photos in. It was raining buckets. We wouldn't have been able to reschedule since I was only in New Mexico for a couple of days.

Thankfully, the rain stopped right before we officially decided to just go for it. I had so much fun photographing this beautiful family and am so thankful the sun decided to peak out near the end of the shoot so we could get some beautiful golden hour pictures!

I did this beautiful and unique wedding for Andrea and Mike recently! The scenery was amazing at a family friend's home at 6pm. The bride gave her groom a bracelet before the wedding that was engraved on the inside with "Love You Forever" for him to wear for the ceremony.

The love these two have for each other is so beautiful and pure.

Both sides of the family came to support them and everyone in the wedding party got to watch the first look and cheer this couple on. The maid of honor stitched butterflies into the bride's dress and they had a beautiful wall commemorating those that couldn't be with them to celebrate their big day.

They chose to do a beautiful combining-of-the-sands ceremony with their kids to symbolize combining their families together.
Each part of the wedding was thoughtfully planned with love in their hearts, and I enjoyed every teary-eyed minute of it 💍

Remember that sneak peak I did a while back?

I finally get to post them!! ^_^ I'm so happy to be able to keep documenting one of my best friends journeys through life, love and motherhood. Caitlin Jenkins and I talked through a lot of ideas for this shoot and I'm so glad we were able to do a good majority of them! It was so hard to narrow down on these!
