This set includes a choreographed shot of three clowns chasing me while I ride through on my scooter, along with more curated group portraits from the night. This one leans a little more playful, a little more chaotic, and fully into the strange energy we were building.

A quiet botanical montage filmed in 60fps, focusing on the small textures and movements that often go unnoticed. Featuring lupins, the delicate paper-like texture of an orange poppy, and a honey bee scavenging for honey between the flowers.

Proof of Concept Scene – Student Film

NOW CASTING
All roles are being cast for the larger project beyond this scene.

Jed (Lead, Male, Early 30s)
A former addict and mafia enforcer trying to leave the life behind, but still drawn to its control and chaos. Controlled on the surface, unraveling underneath.

Marco (Supporting, Male)
A calm, calculating enforcer who carries out the Don’s will with quiet precision.

Vito (Supporting, Male)
An old-school operator who says little, watches everything, and never misses what matters.

Luca (Supporting, Male)
An ambitious up-and-comer masking inexperience with confidence and sharp-tongued bravado.

This was one of my most fun memorable moments at SFCC. We filmed this short scene right after meeting and soaking in inspiration from Matthew Modine an hour before the shoot!

Looking back on it, I’m so happy with what we made. Big thanks to a team that stayed flexible and made the vision real.

Two friends meet in a café and engage in a silent, unspoken exchange that reveals far more than words ever could.
