I love taking pictures of nature, animals and interesting architecture. I also love traveling so you will see photographs from some of the various places I have been fortunate to visit (Hawaii, Israel, UK, Eastern Europe, etc.) You can purchase any photo as a print or stretched canvas from my Etsy shop Happydogtales. The shop is named after my lovable Labrador Retriever, Happy. I rescued him from the Spokane Humane Society in 2011 and knew immediately he'd make a wonderful therapy dog. I am a retired middle school counselor who always wanted to bring a dog into my counseling office to help calm down anxious students. Unfortunately, I could never convince my principal of the idea so I had to wait until my retirement. Happy and I are now a Pet Partner team (for more info on that go to www.pet partners.org) and we visit patients at local Spokane hospitals and schools. I also teach in the Counselor Education Department at Gonzaga University so we often visit with college students there during mid-terms and finals weeks. I am a two-time breast cancer survivor and wished that someone would have brought a therapy dog into the chemo suite when I was receiving my treatments. It would have been wonderful to cuddle with a dog during that very scary time in my life. Thanks for visiting!
