Being a wedding photographer is one of my most favorite things in the world! I love getting to help my clients remember their day, and, create art they will treasure forever!
Another perk is that I mostly know my schedule years in advance! Things can change, but, for the most part, knowing when and what is planned for the next couple of years is super nice!
Now that wedding season has officially started, that means I’m in the busiest time of the year! I love the hustle and bustle and high intensity, I thrive off it! But that also means that most Friday/saturday/sundays I’m probably working or packing up/ prepping gear or traveling! When you are probably relaxing, having free time, or off of work, is when wedding photographers are hustling! So if I reply to messages on week days, and at late in the night times, that’s why! That, and having a child with autism! And husband. (jk I love my husband dearly and he’s the reason our house is clean during wedding season).

So many photos on my brides shot lists are photos I always capture, but the photos not on their shot list end up being the ones they love the most. You might have your first kiss on your shot list, but seeing your partners face when they look at you, the last hug with your dad before you get married, all end up being so much more loved and special! As all my 2026 brides are starting to think about those little details, flat lay photos are the perfect thing to start planning, because, most all of the details included in them will be those little details that can be stressful! What jewelry am I going to wear? What perfume? How am I planning to do my hair, and what accessories? Finalizing floral details? All these things will be included in your flat lay!

When planning, I send all my brides a handy checklist that helps them with all these details in an organized way. I’ll pick up a box from you, and you’ll have all these important details in them! I’ll sneak off and photograph them, quietly and discretely, and you’ll have all your important details in one spot, that’s secure and hard to loose on wedding day. It makes it so easy!
