I know I have never formally introduced myself on here, so I figured now is as good as time as ever! Hi! I’m Hailey! I’m the face behind the camera - the face you will rarely see, but I’m trying to be better about that. I am a mother of three, which is how I got started in this whole business. When my oldest was born, I decided I could take as good as newborn photos as anyone, which was most definitely not true, but 13+ years later, here I am!

I love what I do and feel so fortunate I get to call this my job. So thank you for being here with me! I promise to keep posting cute babies, beautiful baby bumps, and all the little details that are often forgotten. If you are expecting a little one, it’s never too early to reach out - I would love to capture your newborn as well.

Froggy Friday! Let’s talk about this pose real quick. It is by far a fan favorite, and one of my favorite poses as well. However, it is important to note that the final image of this pose is always, ALWAYS a composite. My hands never leave the baby - I am always holding either the baby’s wrists or head, making sure they are safe and secure at all times. Baby safety is always my top concern so you can feel at ease during the session knowing your baby is in good hands!

Let’s be honest, the first few weeks, maybe even months, are a complete blur. And it’s usually the tiny details we forget most often. That’s why I love these photos so much. It isn’t about the actual photo. It’s about remembering these details - the details lost in the exhaustion of parenthood. These details deserve to be remembered exactly as they are.

These tiny details - the ten little piggies, the eyelashes, the tiny fingers - change so quickly. That’s why I love these detail shots so much. They capture this moment. The moment when they will never be this small again. The moment when their little fingers will never grab yours the same way again. These images freeze these momemts in time, giving you something to hold on to and look back at forever and remember.

This is and will always be a favorite! Even if no other of these macro detail shots are selected, the lips are always chosen by the parents. This is the one image that seems most timeless, and I hear from parents all the time that this image is still hanging on their wall even after years have passed. Then, of course, there’s something about B&W.

Do you ever wonder “what if my baby won’t sleep during the session?” Let me tell you, this happens more often than you think! That’s why all newborn sessions are led at your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. And if that doesn’t work, there’s always Plan B and Plan C. My intention is for you to not have to worry about anything - just bring your baby, and I’ll take care of the rest.

When a baby comes in with a full head of hair like this, there is zero chill happening from this girl! This, in addition to the fact that I got to photograph both of his older siblings as newborns, made this session so special. There is no bigger compliment than you coming back again and again to let me capture these most precious moments so thank you for always trusting me!

Who else loves awake baby photos? I always feel like I hit the jackpot when I can capture a shot with direct eye contact, and those images easily become some of my favorites. I will say though, it is harder than you think to capture direct eye contact, so keep expectations low if this is something you want from your newborn session.

The way she’s looking at her newborn baby sister, I could just melt! One of the greatest compliments is when families come back again to have me capture their newest addition. The first time I met this sweet family was in 2023 when big sister was just a baby herself. And now, not only did I get to meet their newest baby girl, I got to see a family again that I have come to adore and see just how much big sister has grown over the years! In fact, I have quite a few repeat families that have booked a newborn session for this year that I am so excited to see again!
