When you’re gone, no one is going to be searching through your iCloud…

It sounds dramatic, I know, but it’s true.

Think about the photos from your childhood…

They were files, they were real.

They lived in albums you would thumb through or on your hallway walls.

I can still remember the framed prints from my childhood home. How I would stare at them and think about how different or similar people looked over the years… or how I missed the ones who were no longer with us.

Photography is meant to be a part of our daily lives, not trapped on your phone or a hard drive somewhere.

I love getting to help my clients take their images from files to art in hopes that they become a staple in the home for the next generation to grow up with.

To every mom holding her breath from somewhere behind my camera: I see you, and I promise, it’s going to be okay.

The “chaos” you’re seeing? I see it a little differently. You see a toddler who won’t sit still; I see a core memory of their wild, beautiful energy. You see a pr***en who doesn’t want to smile; I see a kid who doesn’t want to just be a little kid smiling at the camera anymore and wants something a bit different. Maybe moment of genuine connection that’s about to happen.

I know it may feel like we’re just chasing kids through a field, but that is exactly where the magic lives.

Here is the secret: You don’t need to worry about the “perfect” pose. My job is to handle the energy, find the light, and capture the soul of your family… even (especially!) when things feel a little crazy.

Deep breath, Mom. Let them be little, let them be loud, and let me handle the rest. You’re going to love these…

Senior photos that are more like a model test shoot, but also relaxed so you don’t even realize you’re gaining confidence with each frame? Yes, please.

My approach to senior portraits is all about making you feel good about yourself, making creative portraits along side the classic ones, and doing it in a relaxed way that doesn’t feel forced or awkward.

Before your senior session we meet over zoom to talk about your life, interests, what you feel confident or insecure about, so that when you show up for your session we are already beyond the “hello’s” and “good to meet you’s”… Instead we can get right into the deeper things, what does your life look like after this year? What’s something you’re really excited about for the future? And all while I gently guide you through simple poses and showing you how great you look.

Jacie, you are stunning and this baby will be so lucky to get to call you mom. Your smile, way of putting everyone at ease, your hilarious sense of humor, and your absolutely incredible work ethic are just a few things that make everyone you meet love you. Thank you for trusting me to document the beauty and miracle that is pregnancy. You make it look easy… and I know it’s not :)

Family portraits in downtown Spokane… and make them black and white :)

I cannot believe it is the last day of 2025. This year has absolutely flown by and has been filled with so many highs both professionally and personally. I have loved getting to photograph weddings and families, but also pushing myself into the personal branding and senior portrait space has been such incredible experience. I cannot wait to see how my business evolves over this coming year. 🥂cheers to saying goodbye to 2025 and welcoming 2026!
