One of the first things couples tell us is that they feel a little awkward in front of the camera. And honestly, that makes total sense. Most people don’t spend their lives being photographed, especially on such an emotional day.

That’s why we don’t expect you to know what to do. We’re there to gently guide you when it helps, and to step back when the moment is already perfect on its own. Sometimes it’s a small suggestion, sometimes it’s just giving you a second to breathe and be together.

We’re not trying to create stiff poses or turn you into models. We care much more about how the day feels than how it “should” look.

By the end of the wedding, many couples tell us they forgot about the camera completely — and that’s exactly what we hope for. When you feel comfortable, everything else falls into place.

Hi, we’re Alina & Max, a husband & wife photography team based in the Seattle area.

We’ve been photographing weddings for many years, and over time we’ve learned that the most meaningful photos don’t come from perfect poses — they come from feeling comfortable and being yourself.

A lot of couples tell us they’re a little nervous about being photographed. That’s completely normal! Our job is to make the process feel easy and natural, so you don’t have to think about the camera and can simply enjoy your day.

We work calmly, guide when needed, and give space when moments happen on their own. We care about real emotions, connection, and those quiet in-between moments that often mean the most later on.
