"We met at a christian private school," Aylah Perry(17) chuckles at the memory of her first encounters with her now girlfriend Megan Bean(18), "We were friends when she went to Kingspoint until she moved to Hanford and we lost contact". While sitting with these two I could feel the love they share for each other. They reunited when Aylah chose to transfer to Hanford High her sophomore year, "Tensions were high during football season," I then asked when Aylah knew she wanted to become a couple with Megan. "I knew she was the one for me when I went as Harry Styles for Halloween and she chose to go as his bodyguard!"
Growing up in a Christian family they both had to hide their relationship for some time. They both agreed that coming out to their friends was much easier to do than come out to family members. Aylah had an easy(ish) time coming out to her family members. Megan rolled her eyes and chuckled when i asked this question saying that her family is very conservative so it was slightly tough to come out especially after hiding her feelings towards girls for a while.
