Today, we want to share a story that shows the heart and dedication our firefighters bring to work every day.
Recently, one of our crews responded to a call where a patient had suffered a fall and sustained injuries while trying to clear leaves. After providing medical care and ensuring the patient was safe, our team saw an opportunity to do more.
Recognizing how important it was for the homeowner to have that task completed, the crew stayed and finished clearing the deck themselves.
It’s moments like these that remind us: being a firefighter is about more than just responding to emergencies — it’s about serving our community with compassion and kindness.
