Let’s have a real moment, because it’s hitting my heart seeing this artistic industry starting to crumble. Photographers I’ve watched and loved are stepping away, and it’s honestly heartbreaking 💔

Photography is more than just taking pictures. It’s preserving memories, milestones, love stories, family legacies, and moments that can never be recreated.

Right now, many local photographers are struggling. The economy has hit small businesses EXTREMELY hard, and creative industries are often some of the first to feel it. People are having to make tougher budget choices, weddings are being downsized, and technology has changed how many people capture memories. At the same time, many talented artists are quietly stepping away because they simply can’t afford to keep going.

Remember, your photographer puts THOUSANDS of dollars into equipment, gear, classes to better their skills, programs to help give you AMAZING photos, wear and tear on their vehicles, hours spent editing, and sleepless nights to get your photos out in a timely manner. Some even miss their own family moments to make sure yours aren’t missed.

Yes, times are VERY hard right now. Yes, everyone is budgeting and penny-pinching. Survival mode is what a lot of us are going through.

BUT… when you support a local photographer, you’re supporting:
📸 A small business
📸 Countless hours of editing, learning, and creating
📸 Someone’s passion and livelihood
📸 The preservation of real moments that matter

Please don’t let this art die off. If a session is not in the budget, sharing their work or recommending them to friends is always FREE!!!

Book the session you’ve been putting off if you’re able. Even a simple comment, share, or referral helps more than most people realize. And if you are a small business yourself, community has to stay together to help small businesses survive!

There is so much value in photographs. Long after the day has passed, the images will always remain. ❤️

Sometimes we have too do what is best and with that being said I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from "WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY"💍 for the foreseeable future due to my health.

This was not an easy choice, because being trusted to capture such important moments has meant more to me than I can put into words over the last year. I am incredibly grateful for every couple, family member, friend, and vendor who has supported and believed in my work.

I will still be doing ALL regular portrait sessions, equine sessions, maternity, family small elopements, and vow renewals etc as my health allows. Photography is still something I deeply love, I just need to make sure I’m taking care of myself physically as well 💍📸

All current brides have been personally contacted and fully refunded. I truly wish each and every one of them the most beautiful wedding day and future ahead 💗

To everyone who has referred brides to me, supported my business, shared my posts, booked sessions, or simply cheered me on — thank you. Your kindness and support have meant the world to me, and I appreciate it more than you know. ❤️

If you need references to AMAZING wedding photographers, I will refer you too them! ❤️💍

✨️ How magical is this photo? Getting a photo like this is absolutely why I do what I do! It's simply amazing I get to be able to make photos like this! Sunsets through trees are such a favorite of mine because of natural beauty of a golden glow it creates 🧡
