These are my parents. They celebrate 35 years of marriage this year. They’ve given me everything, and worked hard to provide a life of joy, adventure, laughs and wisdom, for each other and for me and my brother. I cried taking these. I love you guys. I’m finding more value is sharing more behind-the-scenes of these working weekends. While obviously not every detail is shared in these posts, being more transparent about the realities of being a traveling wedding photographer - everything from enjoying the beautiful moments and deep joys, to navigating stressful unknowns, long drives and little sleep - can help remind those looking how important it is to trust someone with your memories who has lots of experience, adaptability, responsibility, endurance, passion and care!
