I started editing Landon & Alee’s sneaks today & my cup of gratefulness is absolutely overflowing! I’m blessed to capture the most peaceful & marriage-over-wedding-centered couples, who have beautiful & captivating wedding days, surrounded by loving & supportive families & friends! Whew, that’s a lot. But that’s how good God’s been to me through this journey. 🙌🏻🤍

If you’re one of my 2026 brides, you’ve noticed oodles of sneaks cause I just can’t pick my favorites anymore!

These two young hearts have 𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝓮 & 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓼. Off to med school and speech pathology school they’ll go soon & I know God’s got a great plan for them!

I may be far behind on posting, but I’m far ahead on living. 🙌🏻

I’m reminiscing of Wyatt & Lillian’s engagement session last fall & can’t wait until their upcoming wedding day. I have endless sessions & weddings to share, but in Amanda style, it may be a minute, as social media isn’t my favorite thing in life: capturing love is! The world shouts at you that you can’t keep up. You’re not doing enough. You’re just not & will never quite be good enough. There’s exhaustion here.

But the Lord whispers to you to be still. Don’t look at yourself or your abilities, but trust Him. Put feet to your faith & you walk differently. There’s rest here.

𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐?

Life isn’t meant to be lived, spinning your wheels, on a hamster wheel that keeps you where you are, trying to keep up with where you think you should be. Nope. It’s meant to be lived one obedient step at a time, doing all you can do for the glory of the Lord. And He’s faithful to take such good care of us. 🙌🏻

It’s been a hard, but refining, season. I’ve been pretty quiet on here for the last 6 months as we’ve walked through some unseen—but good—changes. I’ve said no to posting everything or even regularly & that’s okay. I’ve also turned away more sessions and weddings than ever before, yet somehow, this is shaping up to be my fullest—and best—wedding season yet, without over scheduling. 🤍

What an honor it is to serve you.
I’m so thankful for every senior, family, baby, and bride & groom who trusts me with preserving their most special memories.

And for those I’ve recently had to turn away—thank you for your grace. It likely came during a season I was intentionally stepping back, and I’ve learned the blessing from that. But I’m here—and I’d love to serve you when the timing aligns. 🤍

These two lovebirds drove in from Dallas to get some things done with their vendors & they happened to schedule their outdoor engagement session on a day that only saw a high of 36 degrees. 🥶 They didn’t want to switch to an indoor session, but thankfully the chemistry between them delivered some heat. ☄️

Just dropping in to say that I’m absolutely heartbroken when my couples promptly move out of state after their wedding. Why am I not invited to my couple’s family functions going forward though? We’re pretty much family now… 🥹

I have sooooo many more breathtaking images to come from this beautiful day (& many others), so stay tuned.

I could say that .scott_11 couldn’t have been more stunnning in her romantic, long sleeved lace gown & that Nathan faithfully delivered endless, spunky fun to the day!

I could describe how Nathan had an absolute jaw-dropping response when he first saw his bride. 🥹

I could add how Faith creatively upcycled her dessert bar which was once a retail store’s display to successfully tempt guests to try each and every dessert she made, herself.

I could mention how the entire day seemed to flow seamlessly, thanks to the organized & attentive McKenna .planned_events. Scroll to the very last page to see her in action from planning to tear down! I’m also thankful for helping as my 2nd photographer (I’ll share some of her images later).

But no matter what I choose to share, there’s much left unsaid about Nathan & Faith’s memorable wedding day & all the people that helped to make it happen.

👋🏻 Hey there, friends. It’s me: 𝓐𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓪!

Less than 3 years ago, I took the plunge & created LCP. My goal was simple: to give God glory & be inspired as I captured love & life around me & that’s exactly what this adventure’s brought! It’s stretched me in ways beyond belief & taught me that I need to be a whole lot nicer to myself (especially in my mind).

🙌🏻 I’m a Christian, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, alone, & every day reminds me that if I depend on my own works to secure my fate, I’d be a goner, without hope.

🏡 I’m a wife to Jessee & mom to 4 (some grown & some almost grown) kids & I now have a DIL & beautiful grandbaby, Lilly!

🦷 I graduated from MSSU in Dental Hygiene in 2004 & work very PT as a temp in the field. I can teach you how to have healthy, pink gums for your portraits & your health & if you have something in your teeth, I’ll always tell you! (cause I’d die if you didn’t tell me during my portraits!)

🛠️ We’ve owned a transmission & auto repair shop in Marshfield, MO since 2009. Although my work there is typically behind the scenes, we’ve learned so much about running a business & serving our community well & I apply that with LCP! Our reputation has built our business & it’s okay that not everyone’s our customer. God takes care of all the things & we’re so thankful!

👉🏻In my personal life, I loathe small talk, big crowds, and anything that feels unsafe, but I love capturing weddings! I’m a rule follower by nature & always want everyone around me to feel included & often run from those that are the opposite. I’m a picky eater & I hate it. 🥴

📚 I give back by teaching photography at our co-op & I serve as a photographer at & & I’m so thankful they keep me around!

I scrolled through my camera roll today, past all kinds of portraits I’ve taken & not shared, & these few stopped me in my tracks.

What an honor it is to spend time with each of your families: to witness your own spin on life together, to absorb your laughter, & to witness all the love between you. And there’s a special bond between moms & daughters that’s inspiring. This teen was gentle & kind, silly & playful with her mama on this day & it was sweet nourishment for my soul!

I think as moms, we’re often trying to organize & execute so many things & we often put off family portraits. We wanna lose weight. We need to shop for outfits. Our kids kinda hate us at the moment. You know… all of it together can feel a bit overwhelming. But, we have to remember that this 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 moment is a gift & you’ll never relive it in the same way, so don’t put off prioritizing recording it. And it can truly be enjoyable; I’m here to help make it an experience that feels like a fun-filled family night!
